In 2008 I was I was 30kgs overweight, depressed and stuck in a ‘rut’. I worked long days in an office and when I got home in the evenings I cooked whatever box of ‘food’ I could find that would take less than 15 minutes to prepare!
My husband and I decided to change our lives, and so, we embarked on our Paleo (and later Primal) journey and within 1 year, we not only lost the weight, we both finished a full Ironman Triathlon, I quit my office job and studied to become a personal trainer and we haven’t looked back since!
Taking time to put our health and fitness goals first has done so much for us as a couple but also individually.
As a health coach, I believe it’s my job to take a holistic approach to my clients' health, looking at all aspects of their life to really help them make and keep healthy habits. Not only does this put them in a positive mindset, it helps them enhance their overall well-being and realize that this "Primal thing" is fun!
